this really happened by sophia eichholz

the rat smelled like oil and toasty rice.

it's body ticked side to side as the creature trotted steadily and powerfully.

without skipping a beat, the rat licked up tasty bits of dust and dirt.

it made sounds like Geh Uh and Guh.

inspecting how course it was. carefully so that nothing touched the cuts around my fingernails.

i am riding this rat because i believe that it has the ability to take me home.
